Torrox White Villages Malaga

Sheltered from the north winds by the Sierra Tejeda mountain range, Torrox has all the charm and magic of the typical Andalusian white wall towns, with its narrow, steep streets, whitewashed buildings and a whole host of flowers and potted plants, creating a dream location for the visitor. With 9 kms of coast, Torrox has managed to retain a number of unspoiled beaches, which provide a most attractive natural setting.

The Plaza de la Cosntitucin square, La Encarnacin Parish Church and the coast, a fascinating array of archaeology reminds us of the Roman civilisation which once prevailed here. The celebrations in honour of the Virgen de las Nieves (Virgin of the Snow), the patron saint festivities and the famous Migas (a typical local dish) Festival on the last Sunday before Christmas are the most popular traditional events.
