Fuengirola

Fuengirola is located on a narrow strip of coastline covering 8 kilometres which has a succession of some of the best beaches on the Costa del Sol. It is just fifteen minutes along the train line from Torremolinos, 20 minutes from Malaga airport and 30 minutes by car from Marbella.

Los Boliches, Fuengirola, La Campana, Torreblanca, Las Gaviotas... well-cared for stretches of sand backed by a long and busy promenade where you'll find residential complexes, hotels, restaurants and many other services.

Cosmopolitan and touristic, Fuengirola still looks like the fishing village that it once was. This town, whose watchwords are fun and sun, attracts a significant number of Spanish tourists, not that it is overlooked by foreing visitors, for whom its beaches and marina offer the ideal place to spend a holiday. Fuengirola's main monuments are the archaeological sites of Torreblanca del Sol, Sohail Castle and is parish churches. The October Fair and Easter week see visitors from around the world flacking to Fuengirola to enjoy the town's typical festivities.
