Fuengirola is located on a narrow strip of coastline covering 8 kilometres which has a succession of some of the best beaches on the Costa del Sol. It is just fifteen minutes along the train line from Torremolinos, 20 minutes from Malaga airport and 30 minutes by car from Marbella.

Cosmopolitan and touristic, Fuengirola still looks like the fishing village that it once was. Fuengirola's main monuments are the archaeological sites of Torreblanca del Sol, Sohail Castle and is parish churches.
