Mojacar is split into two parts: the beach lined with pricy hotels, tourist-varied restaurants, and the best nightlife sports along Po. Del Mediterraneo, and the pueblo, where everyday life centers around Pl. Nueva.the town rests stop a hill and is connected to the beach by a winding road.
Most buses stop both at the official stop in front of the shopping plaza by the beach and at the lowest point of the village itself; since most budget lodging is in town get off at the latter stop. The 30 min. hike up the hill from the beach or the main bus stop to pl. Nueva is not for the faint os heart but yellow Transportes Urbanos buses run to and from town and the beachfront bus stop.
