Cala D'Or is on the South East coast, 8 miles North East of Santanyi, 10 miles South East of Felanitx and 40 miles South East of Palma and the airport.
Santanyí is about 56 kilometres from Palma. The most usual means of getting to the municipality is by the main road, a motorway for the first 5 kilometres.
The road passes the airport, crosses Llucmajor and Campos but you can have also easy access from Manacor.
Santanyí has 35 kilometres of coast. Within its territory is the cape of Ses Salines, the southern end of the island, about one hundred and fifty km from the African coast. It has a lot of centres of population like : La Costa, S’Alqueria Blanca, Cala Santanyí, Calonge, Es Llombards, Cala Llombards, Son Mòger, Cala Figuera, Portopetro and most the important of all Cala d’Or.
