Cala d'Or

Cala d'Or is one of the best centres in Santanyí zone. Its origins go back to 1932, when José Costa, fixed on the land to create a development and gave it the name of Cala d'Hort, the same name as a cove on the island of Ibiza. Then with the pass of the years the name was altered to Cala d'Or.

Some of the first inhabitants of the area were: Antoni Mulet, Olegari Junyent, Anglada Camarassa and Natasha Rambova, widow of Rudolph Valentino.
