Mallorca Beaches

Majorca beaches are generally of fine white sand, even in some areas we can confuse the view with a Caribbean beach because the sand quality and crystal clear waters.

You can find landscapes and beaches of dunes not far exploited tourists with crystal clear water, which are spectacular. In the other side most of the Southern beaches are among the most developed and crowded as they are closer to the capital.

Western beaches in Mallorca are in general much less crowded in summer, temperatures are excellent, and we from carspain highly recommend those qualified as virgin beaches.

There are many small coves in Mallorca, and the tourism is varied. you will see many dutsch and english people taking long baths of sun on the sand, as well as luxury yatchs around.

As a big contrast, after being in the beach taking baths of sun and water, you could decide to visit a beautiful and round Medieval Castle (Bellver Castle), located just 20 minutes away by car from where you are. This is one of the reasons we highly recommend a vehicle if you want to visit the most of this Island, to rent a car in Mallorca is indispensable and you will not regret. You can get an idea of the main roads in Mallorca using our Mallorca roads map section.
