CUEVAS

A group of cave dwellings carved into the same ground make up the original quarter as if it were a real troglodyte town. In order to get the best impression of this landscape, it is best to go up to the natural viewpoints of 'Cuatro Veredas' and 'San Fandila'.

IGLESIA DE SANTIAGO

Church from the XVI Century in Gothic-'Mudéjar' style. Valuable coffered ceilings, 'Mudéjar' tower and façade in the purest Plateresque style.

IGLESIA Y CAPILLA DE SAN TORCUATO

Church in Renaissance style with magnificent Baroque façade by Vicente Acero.

CATEDRAL

A real jewel of the purest and Baroque Renaissance style. Lying on the Almohade mosque and the ancient Gothic cathedral, it is the work of Diego de Siloé, Gaspar Cayón and Vicente Acero. It boasts one of the best Baroque choirs in Spain designed by Ruiz del Peral as well as majestic Corinthian and Ionic columns.

ALCAZABA

From its towers one can enjoy the picturesque view of the Caves.
