Torrevieja Festival
The “Eras de Sal” Now it has become one of the most
authentic landmarks in Torrevieja and is a prime example of the
restoration project that has brought back its former splendour,
reminding us of the hard work of so many generations of “Torrevejenses”.
The “Eras de Sal” enclosure receives each year, between
July and August, the International Cuban Dance and Polyphony Contest,
declared as being of International Tourist Interest, in which are
brought together the best National and International groups and
Chorales. Next to the sea, the history of how the sailors who transported
from Cuba the rhythm of the Cuban dances with their exchanges for
salt are recalled.
