An expanse known as Los Pinares serves as a breath of oxygen
to Torremolinos. Surrounded by the natural screening effect
of the Sierra this area is well provided with pine, carob
and Holm oak trees. There are natural springs, fountains
and a large recreational area for the practise of diverse
outdoor sports, three main hiking routes and additional
signposted secondary routes, with an itinerary average of
6 km and a difficulty level of medium/low.
In addition, the Nature complex Cañada del Lobo
located in the sierra consists of a nature hall with autochthonous
and educational material a refuge, a shelter and an observation
tower.
All this combined makes it possible to experience an enjoyable
day communing with nature taking-in the incredible views
from the heights of the sierra.
