San Fernando Castle Beach
This undeveloped beach is another of the attractions
of San Fernando and its virgin sands form part of the Bay
of Cadiz Nature Reserve. Camposoto beach only 4kms from the
centre of the city, stretches some 5kms along the Atlantic
coast.
In the summer months some public services are provided, including
public conveniences and beach bar/restaurants, among others.
Thanks to the cleanliness of the water and its fine golden
sand, this beach has twice been awarded the Blue Flag for
Clean Beaches in Europe. It is a beach with something for
everyone, offering not only a pleasant, family environment
in the area close to the public services, but also more remote,
peaceful areas, where just the breeze and the sea serve as
companions.
