The great coastal extension turns the
North area into a suitable place to develop aquatic
sports. |
Climax sports as the sail navigation, water skiing, canoe
and diving are some of the activities that can be practised
all year long. One of the meeting points for the sailor
is the Real Club Acuático (Real Nautical Club) located
at 39º54´04´´N and 03º05´02´´E.
Port de Pollenca´s Bay is crowned by the Radio
Lighthouse of Pollenca, its characteristics are:
Class A, Radiation RC, Latitude: 39º54´0440´´E,
Longitude:3º05´55´´N, Morse POS,
Frequency: 280 and Emision A-2.
A part from the aquatic activities that can be done I nthe
area there are the horseriding centers which allow the teaching
and making different rides along the area in a sport like
it is the horse- riding, as well as the only golf course
in the area, that is the golf course of Pollenca.
