Festivities are a constant fact in
Pollenca since Sant Antoni in January passing
through Easter Processions and culminates in August
with the Patron Saint, |
where the simulacrum of Moors and Christians the hero
joan Más and the brave people from Pollenca
confront the corsair troops, remembering the dawn of the
31st May 1550.
A part from the celebrations the typical dances from centuries
ago stand out like els cavallets in Sant Sebastiá
the procession of L´Estandart el Ball de les Aguiles
and of course Els Cossiers on the 2nd of August.
