Cales Coves Beach

Services: None.

The cliffs surround this small beach with its necropolis from 9 B.C. This beach sports more than 100 prehistoric caves that have made it famous. The coves were closed amid great controversy by the island´s authorities.

Until 2001 they were the home of hippies and atudents. The beach is badly sheltered from the wind and is not good for anchoring. On the rocks that lead to the beach, on the left, you will find a fresh water spring.
