Catalán is the language spoken in the
Balearic Islands from the XIII century. It is its official
language altogether with the Spanish. Catalan is also spoken
in Catalonia, Valencia, Andorra and other territories, so
it is spoken by more then 7 million people. With these two

For more than 10 years has appeared on the islands provision
for tourist services in the rural environment, a new form
of tourism, far from the traditional tourism of sun and beach.
This approach aims at speeding up the provisional tourist
services in the countryside, partly in order to eliminate
the great difficulty that exists in the gap between the farming
income and the average of the regional income, and in this
way avoid the constant exodus of young farmers from country
to city in search of better economic revenue.
