Called Narixa or Najira by the Arabs, this town lies in a magnificent natural
setting at the foothills of the Sierra Almijara mountains.
The Nerja Caves , the excavations and architectural remains dating back
30 000 years and the Balcón de Europa , a clifftop square overlooking the Mediterranean Sea , have made this the best -known
