This centre is home to an important collection of 20th-century Spanish art selected from the museum's wealth of paintings, sculptures, drawings and engravings by Spanish and foreign artists. It also offers an interesting programme of special exhibitions.

This museum houses the largest and best selection of pictures collected by Baron Hans Heinrich Thyssen Bornemisza. It includes 800 pictures spanning the great masters and schools from the 13th century to the present day.
