Set halfway between Valencia and Alicante along the Golfo de Valencia,
Denia is an upscale family resort cached in a relatively quiet Spanish
city.
Though the town has little to offer budget travellers
in the way of bargains, its beautiful beaches, water sports, and
tasty restaurants are enough to tempt even the most thrifty to splurge.
Denia´s harbour serves as an important ferry connection to
the Balearic Islands. Come summertime the town erupts in celebration
with several wild festivals, abandoning diana´s purity for
the hunt.
