Cala Millor Nature
Sa Punta de n'Amer is a small peninsula of about
500 acres situated between the touristic resort of Cala Millor
and Sa Coma. This whole area belongs to the municipality of
Sant Llorenç des Cardassar.
In 1985 Sa Punta de n'Amer was designated a "Natural
Area of Special Interest" by the Balearic Parliament
due to its interesting flora and fauna.
Its legal classification as a green belt area protects it
from camping, building or any other commercial development
which could endanger its natural state.
Pleasant walks around this beautiful headland give outstanding
views, especially of Cala Millor and the hills beyond where
you are.
