Sierra Alhamilla. Níjar

Starting in Níjar we shall walk on the north along
the road which is at the bottom of the valley towards Huebros
village.
Then we arrive to the Collado (hill) del Romero where we
shall arrive after passing some windmills. Along this mountain
pass there is a track which leads northeastwards to the
town, crossing places of great beauty.
Before arriving at Turrillas, we shall pass through an area
called La Rellena, from where we can walk on up to the Peñón
de las Turrillas, 1,092 m. high. There is an excellent view
from the top .
